Now were looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join our Commercial team. And if youre the right person, wed like to make you a deal:

 

If you:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual business objectives
  • Deliver bookings and revenue commitments, together with other KPI
  • Evaluate, coach, direct and develop the Sales Team
  • Define and implement sales processes and capabilities, including effective territory management, key account development and structured sales methodologies across multiple market segments
  • Drive visibility and accountability through improved sales pipeline and forecast management, leveraging modern sales tools like SFDC
  • Drive strong customer relations with key strategic accounts and monitor customer satisfaction
  • Lead establishment of aggressive annual targets for sales individuals and regions
  • Forecast and deliver on business commitments
  • Control department expenses against budget commitments
  • Achieve revenue targets for all products within assigned territories
  • Set and report regional quarterly goals aligned to overall corporate and regional objectives
  • Monitor and report regional market trends, identifying new market opportunities
  • Work with European marketing to design regional initiatives
  • Participate in scientific conferences, tradeshows and related field support activities
  • Achieve technical knowledge and applications on the product portfolio
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically and morally at all times

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Life Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry)
  • Minimum of three years of successful sales leadership experience in Life Sciences or Diagnostics markets
  • High motivation to achieve targets, with bias for actions
  • Proven successes in leading sales teams, leveraging rigorous sales processes and methodologies to achieve success
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing teams selling “solution based” capital equipment as well as consumables
  • Data driven decision making individual, with ability to translate plans into actions for continuous improvement
  • Effective time management, territory strategy and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • 50% minimum travel requirement
  • Fluent in English
